Utility Precast Concrete Products Help Contractor |

| click thumbnails to enlarge images | It is not long ago that Texas Motor Speedway was being built. The contract was released in January for RV parking and the first race was to be in April.
The contractor called us for help and we were happy to oblige. The Texas Motor Speedway Project needed to be done 2 weeks ahead of schedule so that plumbers and electricians could be called in, and pour-in-place footings could be completed.
Utility Precast Products eliminated several time consuming steps in the regular pour-in-place concrete process. No concrete forms needed to be constructed, no plumbers and electricians had to be called before the forms were inspected and concrete was poured and cured. No forms had to be removed.
Utility Precast Products made a key contribution in reducing time and construction steps to help speed up this fast track project.
The Texas Motor Speedway Project did include some pour-in-place aspects, those being the light pole foundations and the footpads which were all poured-in-place.
The real advantage was the strategic fusion of Precast and pour-in-place which got the project done on time and on budget and ready for racing. |
